Lavender and Chamomille Tea Latte

It is a dynamic, calming, and relaxing duo to enjoy at the end of the day!

Cooking with edible flowers has been one of my greatest pleasures in the kitchen lately.

Flowers provide an amazing flavour and add beneficial healing properties to any dish or drink.

Chamomille and lavender herbs will settle your nervous system and relax your digestive system.

Ingredients for two glasses:

  • 600 ml oat milk (or any other plant milk of your choice)

  • 1 tablespoon organic chamomile flowers

  • 1 tablespoon organic dried lavender buds

  • 2 teaspoons organic honey

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

Garnish:

  • Extra lavender buds and chamomille

Instructions:

  1. Add milk, lavender, and chamomille buds to a small saucepan and bring to a boil.

  2. Reduce heat and simmer for 2-3 minutes.

  3. Add honey, the spices, and mix well.

  4. Strain and separate into the two glasses.

  5. Garnish with a few chamomille and lavender buds and enjoy.

Notes:

I like to froth the milk before I add it to the glass to get a creamier texture, but that's your choice. I used a plunger coffee pot. Enjoy it!
